Returns and Refunds

We want you to love your saree. If something is not right, you can return an unused piece within 7 days of delivery. Orders bought through Flipkart or Amazon follow that marketplace's return process, which is often even more flexible.

Return window

You may request a return within 7 days of delivery. To be eligible, the saree must be:

  • Unused, unwashed, and unworn
  • In its original condition with all tags intact
  • Complete with the blouse piece and any original packaging
  • Free from stains, perfume, deodorant marks, and alterations

Items that cannot be returned

For hygiene and quality reasons, we cannot accept returns on sarees whose blouse piece has been cut, stitched, or altered, or on pieces that have been washed, worn, or damaged after delivery. Minor variation in color between your screen and the fabric is normal and is not considered a defect.

How to start a return

Email hello@saanvi.example.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number, the style code of the saree, and a short reason for the return. For marketplace orders, please raise the request from your Flipkart or Amazon account so it can be processed there.

Refunds

Once your returned saree reaches us and passes a quick quality check, your refund is initiated within 2 to 4 business days. The time for the amount to reach you depends on your original payment method:

  • Prepaid orders: refunded to the original payment method, usually within 5 to 7 business days after approval
  • Cash on delivery orders: refunded by bank transfer to the account you provide
  • Marketplace orders: refunded through the marketplace as per its policy

Exchanges

Prefer a different piece? The simplest way is to return the eligible saree for a refund and place a fresh order for the one you want, so you are not waiting on stock. Reach out and we will guide you.

Damaged or wrong item

If your saree arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs and your order number. We will arrange a replacement or a full refund, including any return shipping cost, at no charge to you.

Return shipping

For a change of mind, return shipping is arranged at your cost unless a free pickup is offered for your pin code. For damaged, defective, or wrong items, we cover the return shipping in full.
